Let us introduce ourselves!
‘Flying Dutchmen’ Hans Drost, Henk de Ridder, Dick Wels and Rick Versteeg form team Recce Reports. The orange color setting in our logo represents our Dutch origin. With a combined total of over 100 years experience as military aircraft spotters, we have a lot of visual output to share. In the 1970’s we used black & white film, then moved to Kodachrome color slides in the 1980’s and nowadays we make digital images. You will find a combination of new and past work on this site. 
We all started our career in aviation at Soesterberg Air Base, the Netherlands. This base was a combined home for the Royal Netherlands Air Force and the United States Air Forces in Europe. The main attraction for us were the fighters of USAFE’s 32nd Tactical Fighter Squadron. We discovered a passion for military aviation that we want to share. And maybe interest others in the intriguing world of past, present and future military aviation.
